Motocross models have no lighting equipment, do not meat E.P.A. noise or emission standards, or U.S. Forest Service (U.S.F.S.) spark arrester requirements. These are high performance motorcycles designed for use only by highly skilled riders in closed-circuit competition.
Unmodified they can not legally be ridden on public land. Most of them get the
"Red Sticker", meaning that they can't be ridden all year round on public land.
